What is it? A self-guided garden tour featuring country gardens in west Quebec's beautiful Pontiac region. The focus is on organic flowers and vegetables, wildlife-friendly designs, and native plants. Local artisans have been invited to sell their crafts, books and cards in the gardens. The opportunity to purchase nursery stock and seeds at some of the gardens adds to the appeal.
When? Saturday August 5th and Sunday August 6th, 10 am to 6 pm.
Cost? Admittance is a voluntary donation to the Canadian Wildlife Federation. Information on the CWF's Wildlife Friendly Garden programme will be available.
Why? For the love of gardening and fostering of the arts in our community.
Where? West Quebec villages of Luskville, Quyon, Norway Bay (Bristol area), and Greermount.
